Dr. Hoyt and wife, Barbie, moved to De Queen in 1986 upon completion of his residency medical training at LSU Medical Center-Shreveport in 1986. He then set up his medical clinic in 1986 in the De Queen Clinic building before moving into the Hoyt Clinic facility in 2003. He practiced primary care medicine in De Queen for over 33 years before retiring in the Fall of 2019. Dr. Hoyt enjoyed serving his community as a physician and he feels honored to serve now as a member of the Board of Governors of Sevier County Medical Center.
